Thomas Cantrell

Personal Profile

As far as I can remember

I have tinkered with computers. Then I tinkered with an early Internet. Eventually, this all let to working on connecting embedded systems together, or more popularly working on the "things" on the Internet of Things.

Now I have switched my focus from working on networking the small things, to networking the big things - working on "The Cloud" at Amazon Web Services. I focus on building scalable systems that get you where you want to get, through Cloud DNS (Domain Name System).

Personal Interests

When not computer geeking I fill my time with either of the following:

  • Exploring new sites in Seattle;
  • Learning more about medicine and its delivery in the US;
